A presentable parking lot can enable you to provide those visiting your business premises with a memorable customer experience.

Why choose asphalt for your parking lot? Asphalt is one of the most flexible paving materials you’ll choose for your parking lot, driveway, or pathway. It takes a shorter time to install; thus, an asphalt project for parking lot resurfacing takes the shortest time possible. This reduces disruptions for your business or property.

Asphalt is more porous than other materials used for paving work. Its porosity enables it to drain water faster. This ensures safe parking and driving conditions as there will be no stagnating water around the parking lot.

Asphalt is recyclable. Over time you may notice potholes or cracks in your parking lot. It should not worry you much since the top layer can be easily removed and replaced. A parking lot made of asphalt paving is an effective way to reduce maintenance costs. Also, reusing this material over and over again ensures that natural resources have been preserved.

So why choose concrete for your next project?

Concrete is a sustainable and durable material for paving work. It’s less prone to cracking and potholes. Due to the reduced wear and tear defects, the maintenance requirement for concrete pavements is usually low.

Concrete is a locally available material. Therefore, installing a concrete pavement is more manageable due to the abundant supply of the materials needed. Concrete is not only readily available but 100% recyclable as well.

If you’re looking to save on electricity costs, then concrete is the material for you. It’s a light-reflective material that saves energy as well. It helps maintain relatively low temperatures at your parking lot as it does not absorb heat during the day. Did we mention that concrete is a non-combustible material? It’s fire-resistant and, therefore, a safer option for you. It also does not react quickly with other substances. Thus, in the event of a fire outbreak, it does not emit any toxic gases.

Concrete is a strong material that can handle heavier vehicles. Trucks and other heavy load vehicles can drive on concrete pavement without causing significant damage. The production process of this rigid material requires less overall energy making it environmentally friendly.

  • More About Belton, Missouri

On August 13, 1869, George W. Scott and William H. Colbern purchased approximately 80 acres of land from Manzey Q. Ashby of Kentucky, who had received it from the US government a month earlier. In December 1871, Scott and Colbern filed a plat for the 80 acres, naming the new town "Belton." Belton was established in 1872. It was named after Captain Marcus Lindsey Belt, one of Scott's close friends who assisted Scott in surveying the land. The two had served together in the Civil War. Belton and its surrounding areas were primarily settled by families from Kentucky.

The Shawnee lived and owned land on the Black Bob Reservation, four miles west of Belton and just across the Missouri-Kansas border. It was given to the Shawnees in the Treaty of May 10, 1844, and is located in the southern part of Johnson County, Kansas. The Shawnees abandoned their lands and settled in Indian Territory, now Oklahoma, as a result of harassment from both sides at the start of the Civil War. After the war, they discovered that their lands in Kansas had been taken over by white settlers, forcing the majority of Shawnee to return to Indian Territory empty-handed.

High Blue, located on 58 Highway two miles west of Belton, was the community's first trading center. It was approximately 1,200 feet above sea level, making it the highest point between Springfield and Kansas City's Liberty Memorial Hill. Belton is located on a ridge that extends all the way to Lee's Summit. The Little Blue River east of Kansas City receives all water north of Main Street. All water flowing south of Main Street enters the Grand River, then the Osage River, and finally the Missouri River 10 miles east of Jefferson City.

They did an outstanding job at the time, and, it has held up extremely well so far, with all indications it's going to last a long time to come. For us? That's probably the best recommendation: when you can still recommend them years later.
